I believe it was sometime in February/March when Takara
released ACT-2 PVC figures and I knew that I had to order a case of 12 figures (6 colored
& 6 clear) from BigBadToyStore. So I did and was happy to get the "C"
box. No chase figures here but to have both clear & colored versions is fine.
As with the release of ACT-1, there were 14 total figures
(2 chase) released in ACT-2 with the chase figures being a translucent Rodimus Prime
holding the Matrix and Convoy holding Megatron (Gun Mode) while wearing Starscream's Jet
Pack. The case measures 11"x6.25"x6" and has a letter applied
underneath which tells you what mix of figures you can expect to find. For example,
the "A" case will have the translucent Rodimus Prime with Matrix chase figure
and case "B" will have Convoy with Megatron (Gun Mode)/Starscream (Jet Pack)
chase figure. And case "C" has...well, you know what it has. For
some reason I knew that I'd be receiving the chase-less case.

The box
containing these figures measures approximately 3" wide, 5 3/4" tall (including
flap), and 1 7/8" deep. Each figure is about 3" tall and is quite
detailed.
Each figure is partially assembled and wrapped
in a clear baggy within the box. In addition, each figure comes with a clear oval
S.C.F. stand that has a single peg which connects to the figures foot. I've included
photos of the figures connected to their stands below. Another thing I've done is
provided the alternate names (Japanese/U.S.) for each figure if they were labeled
differently on the box.
Have you noticed something odd about my
colored Rodimus Prime figure below? That's right...two right arms!! It seems
that the folks on the assembly line are falling asleep on the job. Either the
figures have arrive broken or with duplicate/wrong parts. What's up with that?!
