Panzeroid is Jeeg’s mechanical horse. Andromeda,
Pegasus, and a few other horse figures in the Micronauts line licensed by Hasbro also have
the same body as Panzeroid. This Panzeroid is a 1998 re-issue by Takara. It is
boxed with various attachments; a Lance, two Missile Launchers, and four wheels for
vehicle mode. A sticker sheet can also be found within the packaged Panzeroid.
These are applied to the chest (one sticker actually has the word
"Panzeriod" in Kana) and hind legs. The color scheme is Red, White, and
Blue including Light Blue and Yellow stickers.
The head fits snug into the body and can be removed so that a Jeeg Centaur can be
formed. To create the Centaur just remove Jeeg’s legs and attach his body to
Panzeroid’s neck slot that happen to have two screw-like joints for the magnetic
joints. You can replace one of Jeeg’s fists so that you can insert the Lance
weapon into his hand. The Missile Launchers are attached magnetically to the sides
of Panzeriod and can shoot the projectile with a push of a button. The legs have
screw joints at the knees and are connected with pegs at the hips.
To transform Panzeroid into vehicle mode you must first remove all four legs. Two
larger wheels connect to the front socket with the smaller wheels at the rear. Each
set of wheels is made of two parts; Blue axle and Red wheel. The rear wheels also
have rubber/plastic treads that must be fitted onto the wheels. Last thing to do is
remove it’s tail.
