ALIEN INVADERS

WALDER MONSTERS

In 1998, Takara released set of Alien Invaders from the original line.  This set of figures are 12" vinyl (limited articulation) versus the original 8" fully articulated figures of the past.  These figures are called Alien Invader-O, -Z, and -J.  They are the army invaders of the evil Walders.  The figures have removable heads as with all of the Cyborg/Walder figures but that's about all.  Articulation is very limited since the only type of joint connections used with these figures is a swivel at the wrists, elbows, shoulder, hips, ankles and head.  If you're into vinyl figures, these would make a nice addition to your collection.

In 1998, Takara released a second set of vinyl figures called King Walder Monsters: Skeleton King, Plant Man, and Satan King.  These figures are basically the same as the Alien Invaders with the addition of organic inner organs and alien head (underneath skull).  There is really no articulation (limited) with this line of figures, but is just another thing to add to my collection.

I purchased Skeleton King from Krypton Comics in Nebraska on 6 July, 2001 for about $30.  I completed my set of King Walder Monsters thanks to Dare.  He lives in Singapore and contacted me when he found out that I needed them.  I just received them in the mail today, 16 August, 2002.  Thanks Dare!!
