I ordered Black
Koutetsu Jeeg about a week ago and it arrived in the mail on the 20th of April. This is
the second re-paint of the Jeeg re-issues and has my vote for the best appearance.
There are no changes in the mold, packaging, or attachments, just the color.
Jeeg's color scheme includes silver, black, and gold. The
drill attachments, belly projectile, eyes, and ports on his torso are painted gold.
His grill, wings on his head, parts of this torso and pelvis are painted silver.
The grooves in his head and torso as well as the ribs down each legs are also painted
silver.
The box art is the same as the original version minus the
colors. Only black, white, and gray colors to go with this "Black Version"
of Jeeg.
I hope Takara decides to produce a black version of
Panzeroid to compliment black Jeeg but who knows. Maybe someday we'll even see Big
Shooter!
